I have 2 layouts to share with you today showcasing some super super gorgeous Blue Fern Chipboard and papers.
My first layout is using the Deja Vu collection papers again.. I started with the layering 2 peices of paper from the collection as my base then I placed the gorgeous Butterfly Grid over the top which I covered in Gesso first.
Before I stuck my Butterfly Grid down I partially cut out come of the butterflies to "lift" them off the page and make them come to life. This was perfect way to show this photo of my little man who is always outside, its his favourite place to be, always trying to catch butterflies.
My next layout is using papers from the Ombre Dreams Collection. Don't think I will ever tire of using that collection.
I have added lots of masculine type chipboard to this layout. I love to layer and layer my chipboard to create lots of demension, texture and interest to my page.
I always start with covering my chipboard with Gesso. This will hold any colour of ink to your chipboard. I glue everything down and then I add my colours. Using a fine paint brush I randomly flick my colours around and spreading it further by misting it with water.
Papers: Ombre Dreams
Chipboard: Circle Links, Cogs and Gears, Faucets, Hooks and Keys, Lightbulbs, Moving Parts, Techno-Scape, Software Peices
WOW has it been that long since I have last blogged!!
Sorry my friends...I just have had so much going on in my everyday life that blogging has taken a backwards step. Anyway I know we have all been there at some point in our lives and having a young family keeps me very busy.
So I have a bit of catching up to do...first of all lets start with some Flying Unicorn Design Team Projects.
This was part of the April KOM. This cute metal watering can just begged to be jazzed up a little especially with my favourite embellishment...flowers! It now sits just lovely on my craft desk holding all my paint brushes.
Next we move along to a layout I created using the May KOM.
Lots of gorgeous 13 Arts papers and art mediums :))
And just one more for today...
Created using the June KOM..
Lots more gorgeous 13 Arts papers and mediums...yum yum! :))
Not sure if I have any more readers out there but if you do...THANK YOU SO MUCH
Just have a couple of projects to share with you that I created using the April KOM from Flying Unicorn. I have also created a little tutorial on how I created the background for this layout. Please see the Flying Unicorn blog for all those details :)
Everything on this layout was included in the KOM as well as bits from the add ons. I absolutely loved the 2 different Lindy's Stamp Gang mists were included.
So different for me to create something with these colour tones but I loved how it turned out.
And here is a cute card I made from bits of the Small Art Big Passion kit.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you all have a great week!
